Childminding Contract Forms

A set of contract /forms for your Childminding Business. A childminder is the owner of a small business and as such it is recommended that you have a written contract to help you communicate effectively with parents. Your contract should specify things you’ve agreed upon. This includes the schedule of care, the rates and fees, who is approved to pick up a child, how holidays are handled, the procedure to terminate a chidminding contract, etc…

Folder 5:

Risk Assessment Forms – Health and Safety

This pack contains risk assessment forms for a childminder’s house, garden, car and resources.
Childminders must conduct a risk assessment which is part of the Welfare Requirements as stated in the EYFS Statutory Framework.

Welfare Requirements:
Suitable premises, equipment and environment. Outdoor and indoor spaces, and furniture, equipment and toys, must be safe and suitable for their purpose. Childminders must take reasonable steps to ensure that hazards to children both indoors and outdoors are minimised. The risk assessment should cover anything which a child may come into contact with.

Folder 6:

The “All About Me” book

All About Me book is one way in which to gather knowledge of a child in your setting. It can be completed when first getting to know a child and at other times to inform you about which areas you may wish to observe and develop in more detail. All About Me book can be developed one stage further – as a tool when planning high quality experiences for the child.

Folder 7:

Daily Diary

It is a good practice to provide a Daily Diary for each child in your setting. A daily diary acts as a tool for communication between the childminder and the parent.

British Sign Language – BSL FingerSpelling Alphabet Colouring Pages

Fingerspelling is a method of spelling words using hand movements. The fingerspelling alphabet is used in sign language to spell out names of people and places for which there is not a sign. It can also be used to spell words for signs that the signer does not know the sign for.
